FAQs
-
Which mice are compatible with the Razer HyperFlux V2? The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, Razer Cobra Pro, and Razer Naga V2 Pro. -
Can I charge my mouse on the Razer HyperFlux V2 if it is using the charging puck from the Razer Mouse Dock Pro? No, the Razer HyperFlux V2 uses different charging technology for in-motion charging, which requires the dedicated puck that is included in the Razer HyperFlux V2 box. For conventional inductive charging solutions, check out the Razer Mouse Dock Pro. -
How do I know if my mouse is being charged?
You can keep track using the mat’s built-in LED indicator, which changes color based on the battery life of your mouse (by default: 100% – static green, ~75% – breathing green, ~50% – yellow, ~25% – orange). -
Does the Razer HyperFlux V2 mat require a power connection? Yes, to enable continuous wireless charging and functionality, the Razer HyperFlux V2 mat must be connected directly to the PC using a Type C or Type A connection. -
Can the Razer HyperFlux V2 mat charge my mouse if the mouse has no battery left? Yes. However, this can only happen if the Razer mouse is already paired to the mat in the first place. If it is already paired, check that the mouse has the HyperFlux V2 puck installed with 2.4 GHz mode turned on. Simply place the mouse on the mat and the mouse should begin charging from no battery. -
Should I power the mat via a USB Type A or Type C connection? For the best charging experience, we recommend plugging your mat into your PC using a Type C connection. -
Do I need to update my mouse for the mat to work? Yes, please ensure that your Razer mouse and the Razer HyperFlux V2 are on the latest firmware via the Synapse dashboard. -
Can the Razer HyperFlux V2 be used on metal desk? We advise against placing it on or near metal surfaces or objects, as they can affect the performance of the mat when powered. -
Can I switch between two Razer mice with the Razer HyperFlux V2? Yes! First, ensure that your second mouse is on the latest firmware, switch it to 2.4 GHz mode, and check that it isn’t connected to anything. Next, select Razer HyperFlux V2 on the Synapse homepage, enable Seamless Auto-Pairing, and unpair your first mouse under “Open Pairing Utility”. Lastly, swap the Razer HyperFlux V2 puck from your current mouse to your second mouse. Repeat this process for the first mouse if you’d like to switch back to using and charging it. -
Does my mouse require its dongle with the Razer HyperFlux V2? Not at all! The mat’s built-in wireless receiver acts as a dongle for your mouse to connect to and charge. The mat also features multi-device support, allowing you to connect a Razer keyboard to it. -
Can I use the Razer HyperFlux V2 mat without the puck for my Razer mouse? Yes, if your mouse is paired to the mat, it can still be used wirelessly. However, wireless charging will not be enabled unless it has the dedicated puck installed. The Razer HyperFlux V2 can also be used as a regular mouse mat, if you have no need for wireless connectivity or charging. -
Can I charge my phone or other devices with the Razer HyperFlux V2 if I place it on the mat? No, the Razer HyperFlux V2 only charges mice.
